Laura's story

When Laura left her job to care for her terminally ill mother, she didn’t expect help to be available. Discovering Mingary Care changed everything.

Who is eligible for Mingary Care support?

Mingary Care supports people who are dying and the people around them, across the Sunshine Coast to Gympie region.

How much does it cost?

Our help is free. Mingary Care is community funded and there is no cost to the family.

How do I make a referral?

You or a health professional can make a referral by contacting our team, and we aim to respond quickly.

What areas do you cover?

We serve the Sunshine Coast to Gympie region in Queensland.

How is Mingary Care funded?

Almost entirely by the local community, through our op shops, regular givers, volunteers and local events.
