A cleaner, a shower chair, fuel for hospital trips or a few hours of respite, these are just some of the practical things your donation funds.
When practical needs are covered, it can ease some of the pressure and create breathing room for what matters, when it matters.

- transport, fuel and hospital parking;
- respite and support for the people around someone who is dying;

Your support stays local
Mingary Care receives no government funding. Our community funds this support through our Op Shops, donations, fundraising, grants, sponsors and local supporters.
Your support gives Mingary Care the flexibility to respond quickly when there’s a practical gap and time matters.
We fund and coordinate practical support through local providers and businesses across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie.

Make a donation in memory
Giving in memory can take different forms. You might choose to:
- make a personal donation in someone’s memory;
- invite family and friends to donate in place of flowers or gifts;
- create a memorial fundraiser and invite others to contribute.
Donate goods
Have good-quality items you no longer need? Our Op Shops welcome donated goods. Every item sold helps fund Mingary Care’s practical support.
